2012 SATURDAY SAMPLER

We will again hold Saturday Sampler on the second Saturday of each month except for January when it will be held on the first Saturday of the month.

Sign up before January to reserve your space. There will be an additional cost of $10 if you do not sign up prior to January 1st.

You may choose from the following session times: 8:30AM, 9:30AM, 10:30AM, or 11:30. We ask that you stick with one session time throughout the year. We are offering a pieced quilt from the pattern Round Robin by Bits ‘n Pieces done in 1800’s and also in floral pastels. Our appliqué quilt is Pumpkin Hill by Bunny Hill Designs.

Cost to sign up is $6.00. Purchase of the pattern from Prairie Quilt is required. You may do both patterns for an additional charge.

Here is how it works: Bring your completed block from the previous month to receive the current block free. Each month we show the next month’s block and give a short 15 minute presentation. Conditions: If you want to make both quilt designs, that's fine, but you only get ONE free kit per month. You must pay $6.00 for the additional kit. The Saturday Sampler block is worth more than the $6 it is sold for. For this reason, we can only offer each person one kit. You cannot buy multiple kits of blocks. To get your free kit, you MUST come to Prairie Quilt with your finished block at the class time you signed up for and sit through the demonstration time. There are NO exceptions! This is not a mail out Block of the Month. You are expected to be present for at least half of the sessions. If you can't come one Saturday, you can buy that month's kit for $6.00 while supply lasts. Bring your completed block to the next month's class and you will receive the next month's kit free. A door prize will be given away at each session, but you must bring your completed block to be eligible for the drawing and you must be present to win. There will also be a "special discount" item announced the morning of each session, which will be available ONLY to participants and ONLY on meeting day. After twelve sessions, you should have twelve finished blocks and be on your way to a beautiful quilt!! Finishing kit sold separately.
